[Imogen & Rakshasa]

This is a fun little thing I do on any board I infect. Basically, this is a place for a little list of factoids that aren't found in your profile. It's pretty bamf and fun and stuff.

"RAKSHASA" & IMOGEN

I. Imogen's last name, Selden, is the name of the antagonist in Sir Conan Doyle's "Hound of the Baskervilles", where it features the mystery of a Bartghest.

II. Imogen is Italian/English in descent.

III. Rakshasa was originally going to be a Cu Sith.

VI. Imogen would die for a Stradivarius.

VII. I named Imogen after listening to "Clear the Area" by Imogen Heap.

VIII. Imogen is a remake of an old character of mine on a horror-based roleplay. Back there, she was psychotic, crazy, dead and out to kill the shit out of anything that looked at her funny. Or just looked at her. Or breathed. I don't know, she actually managed to kill off 4 Player characters.

IX. Yes, her Katana is named after THAT Liberachi.

[Raziel Och]

Welp, I didn't think she could get any more awesome but she just did. Thanks, Amy.

I have to say factoid number one and three are extremely interesting. Oh Rakshasa~

And also because I am a sucker for going on and on about my characters, I'll jump in. :'D

RAZIEL OCH

I. I deliberately named Raziel and his family after angels, both last and first name... don't ask me why, I just did. Whom Raziel is named after in particular is the "Keeper of Secrets" and the "Angel of Mystery". Raziel happens to be the patron angel of law makers and lawyers, though I choose the name 'cause I thought it sounded nice. There really is no reason why I chose the name I did. :B

II. Raziel used to be in a choir, though he keeps this certain piece of information to himself. His voice was along the bass ranges.

III. Raziel comes from a largely Nordic heritage, though there's Irish in there somewhere.

VI. I didn't realize until two days after the fact that "Och" happens to rhyme with a certain something. I'll let your imagination do the rest of the work.

VII. He has perpetual bad luck when it comes to romantic relationships. Every single one he has had has ended in him being dumped.

VIII. Originally, I intended for Raziel to be a dark-haired, lanky know-it-all. But he developed an image/mind of his own, and refused to be pegged as such.

BECAUSE I LOVE TRIVIA...

Isamu Ito



1. Isamu was originally meant for a superpower rp forum, but someone else had nabbed his fc before I could.

2. He wasn't meant to be this much of a dick. He just sort of... became that way. He was supposed to be less snappy and more friendly/flirty, but... yeah. That kinda failed/hasn't come up yet in rp.

3. The only one of his family he can stand is his sister, and he often has tea parties with her. Dresses and everything included. Isamu just can't say no to her.

4. There's no real reason he's named Isamu other than I thought it worked well with a Rin fc. Isamu, however, means 'courage, bravery' and Ito means something along the lines of, literally, 'this wisteria'.

5. The chimera doesn't have a name, has never given Isamu his name, and never plans on it. :v He also only speaks up to provoke/make fun of/make Isamu's life more of a living hell.

6. He's the first character I've ever done a relationship page for.

7. He's pure Japanese and was born in Japan, but moved to South Isle when he was 3.

8. Isamu works at a garage for the sole reason that he doesn't want to end up like his parents, living paycheck to paycheck and having to scrounge for a foothold in decent living.

9. Isamu doesn't eat much, and eats very inexpensive foods. Take him to a restaurant, watch him flip his shit at the prices/meals in general.

10. He desperately wants a kitten. A little tabby kitten with a pink nose and big paws.

[Tomoko Hashimoto]

TOMOKO HASHIMOTO

I. Tomoko still sees her father, but only about twice a year, and they're so awkward around each other that it's usually a short visit. He doesn't pay much attention to her anyways, and is dating a woman only two years older than Tomoko. He tends to throw money at his daughter as a way of dealing with her (and perhaps to alleviate his own guilt over leaving her at a young age).

II. Secretly, Tomoko is Team Jacob.

III. Tomoko was originally a part of a Fruits Basket RP. She was still a detective, still same old Tomoko, but I like her waaaaay better now. Her name is sort of ironic - "tomo" meaning either "wisdom", "intellect", or "friend", and "ko" meaning child. "Hashimoto" means "base of bridge", and fun fact! There's a disease called Hashimoto's thyroiditis that destroys the thyroid gland!

IV. She is really adverse to the idea of dating, partially because she's worried being able to see the dead would freak people out and partially because she does, in fact, think boys have cooties.

V. She has some family back in Japan (namely, her great-aunt and other extended family) and occasionally visits them, but she was born and raised in South Isle. She only speaks fluent Japanese because her mother and grandmother both do.

VI. Her biggest fear is drowning, because Tomoko is a very weak swimmer. She can dog paddle, but not well. If she's in water deeper then her waist she freaks out.

VII. Tomoko often gets detentions because of arguing in class and being too loud and disturbing the classroom environment by talking to people who aren't there. Needless to say. school is not her favorite.

VIII. She buys most of her clothes at thrift stores because she likes mixing and matching eclectic styles. She also does not own a pair of matching socks.

IX. She collects stuffed animal pandas, and her collection is 47 and growing. Pandas are her favorite animal ever in the history of animals ever.

X. Her family is surprisingly well off - her grandfather was a businessman who left the family a nice bit of money when he died. The shrine itself doesn't make much money, and Tomoko's mother works as a hairdresser in the city during the day to make extra money. She doesn't wear a kimono to work, though. Tomoko had a job for half a week at a restaurant, but quit because the place was cursed.

[Alice Ruth King]

Alice Ruth King,
that silly little hot-headed girl

I. Alice is recycled. I dug her up in the deep recesses of my mind (aka I was poking around an old RP site from middle school). It took a good smattering of PAM to get her out of there, and several scrubs to TRY and de-sue her.

II. Her face claim is also one I've used for pretty much Alice's foil: a giggly, stupid werewolf who makes tit jokes.

III. Azar faced the possibility of being a salamander, but then I was like "OH LUL FLYING"

IV. Alice's favorite band would be Heart, followed closely by Black Sabbath and Rush.

V. On the subject of music, Alice can play guitar. She can also sing, fairly well, in a Joan Jett-esque sense. If it weren't for the fact that no one likes her ... she has no friends ........ she's possessed, then she would probably be in some kind of band.

VI. Alice eats a lot of food (but you knew this already). She likes spicy food the best. Especially Thai food.

VII. Seven is an unlucky number for Alice. July 7th, 2007 was a bad day for her.

VIII. Despite this superstition, Alice claims that she doesn't believe in things like luck, fate, or destiny.

IX. I based Alice's parentals loosely on the parents in the movie Easy A, as well as my own.

X. I will probably forget half of these until I read this thread again.

[Apple]

APPLE

I. Apple can't actually eat apples!

II. I kind of sort of based her personality off Ariel from The Little Mermaid, as both are incredibly fascinated by humans despite not really knowing much about them. However, Apple has an advantage because she knows what forks are.

III. Although she doesn't need to eat human food, she loves loves loves hot cocoa.

IV. If she did eat human food, Apple would be stuck because eating any sort of plant or animal in any form would freak her out. She'd probably cry if she found out she was eating baby chicks in her omelete.

V. While we're on the subject, Apple cries incredibly freely at movies, even if they aren't sad.

VI. She loves hugs! She'll walk up to strangers and give them huge hugs, because she's too friendly for her own good.

VII. She's a follower - literally. If someone's interesting, she will stalk them for as far as she can without going outside her radius, whether they like it or not.

VIII. Doesn't know how to bike, swim, or call people on the phone.

IX. Everyone she meets is her friend automatically.

X. An epimeliad can live for a lot longer than the tree's usual lifespan - on average, an apple tree lives to about 80. Apple will probably live for twice that long.
