- What the staff says in site matters, goes. If they tell you to stop doing something, stop doing it. If they tell you to do more of something, do more of it. They're here to make sure things are being run nicely and so everyone can enjoy their time here on Accidental Brilliance.
Staff don't make decisions lightly, and if we do or say something there is always a reason for it. A reason we've thought long and hard about before making.
- No arguing, insults, harassment, or anything of that sort. This is a place for everyone to have fun, and being insulted isn't that much fun for anyone. If it's seen you get one warning, and then the bans start.
IF YOU HAVE ANY PROBLEM WITH ANY MEMBER WHAT SO EVER, PLEASE CONTACT AN ADMIN. We're not viciously mean assholes, guys. Really.
- Keep things PG-13 rated. Proboards does have a tendency of shutting down sites if they break their ToS. We do not want to see this, so if you want to get higher than PG-13 rated, take it to Skype, MSN, email, or something other than Proboards, please.
- The cbox is a privilege, not a right, and will be taken away should the staff decide that the members can't handle it.
- Please don't bug staff to look at your profiles. We'll get to them when we can. Having patience is a virtue and makes everyone's time here easy.
- Each new character needs it's own account. The display name of your accounts should be your character's name. That means both first and last for human characters.
- There is a character limit of 5 characters per person. Your newest character needs at least 15 posts on it before you can make a new character. The only possible way to have more than 5 characters is to prove to the staff that you are active with all of them.
- There is a special word needed for Accidental Brilliance. Put cookies as that special word for reading this far.
- Death and fighting is possible and encouraged, however there is no killing of other PC characters unless the other player has given consent.
- No godmodding or powerplaying allowed. That is, giving your characters god-like abilities they wouldn't normally have (or abusing the abilities of the characters and making them all powerful/unbalanced) and making it so your character hits every time (auto hits), never gets hit, and is in general an all powerful being.
- Keep away from Gary Stu and Mary Sue characters. Not everyone is perfect, and it should be reflected in your characters.
- In the case of a creature/possessed/bound, your abilities should reflect the kind of creature you are/have. Staff will do research to make sure that it makes sense.
- No god/highly powerful creatures are allowed without staff permission.
- Every rule stated here applies towards the cbox.
- We have a 250 word count for posts. This means you need at least 250 words in every roleplay post you make. This makes us an intermediate or so site, and we will check.
