In addition, he has another two similar tattoos that run from the back of his neck, down either side of his spine, and end at his lower back. Full Appearance:: His human form takes the appearance of a man in his early twenties with fair skin. His hair is short, yellow and spiky, only reaching his neck. His eyes are blue, which glow brightly when he is using his powers. Tatsuo is of a medium build, being quite muscular, but not to the point where he's a brick wall. His creature markings are well-hidden under his clothes. He also has a piercing on his left ear, which is a magical item that enables him to assume human form. As for normal attire he likes to wear black jeans and a black v-neck shirt. He has a lightning bolt chain attached to his jeans, forming a loop. Over this he wears a blue jacket with three yellowish-gold studs on the upper portion of each sleeve and black cuffs and a black collar. This is what he likes to wear the most, though that does not mean that's all he wears. There are also times where he will wear parts of his creature form on himself in the form of an elaborate, electric blue and yellow armor. This generally assumes the appearance of samurai armor. Normal Appearance: Here Armored Appearance: Here Here Here His Raiju form takes the appearance of a large, scaly, hulking wolf-like creature. Tatsuo’s eyes turn bright blue and glow menacingly. His body is covered in electric blue scales as well as large areas of white fur on its neck, chest, limbs, flanks, and tail. He has several yellow armored ridges that run down the length of his body. This ridges are actually lightning bolt-shaped spikes that lie flat against his body to appear as ridges when he isn't discharging large amounts of electricity. The lower portions of his limbs are also similarly colored and ridged. There are two horns that extend out over his head as well as two smaller tusks that extend forward from the bottom of his lower jaw. He has incredibly-developed and strong limbs, sharp fangs, and claws. He has three sharp, slightly curved spikes that extend outwards and slightly back from the outer sides of his feet. His tail is long and thick yet also flat in addition to being armored. On the area down his neck, the area just below the ridges that run over his shoulder, and several other spots on his body glow pulsing blue. Despite his size, Tatsuo is surprisingly agile and is able to perform many impressive maneuvers. Appearance: Here Here Attitude Full Personality:: Tatsuo mainly comes off as a quirky, mischievous, and sarcastic type of person. He is rather laid-back and hardly ever seems serious. This is mostly because he reasons that if he's going to be around for a few more thousand years, he might as well spend it enjoying life instead of being bogged down in duties and routines like most people seem to be. He can also be rather passive-aggressive, taking jabs he finds to be stupid or unsavory and intentionally getting a rise out of people he deems too serious or uptight, much to the the entertainment of himself and his friends. Despite this facet of his personality, Tatsuo is a kind and caring person around those he truly cares about, willing to fight to the death to defend them, but still retains that quirky and sarcastic demeanor. Tatsuo is also quite happy with himself and is typically brimming with confidence...and probably arrogance as well. Should a person get on his bad side and do something to anger him. He will use his powers and ruin that person's night. Tatsuo is quite cunning and very skilled in a fight, able to adapt quickly to deal with changing conditions as a result of 2000 years of survival. In his human form he is quite restrained. In his true form, he becomes a different animal, literally. As an apex predator, he will stop at nothing to see his enemy dead and possibly eaten. As with most Raiju, he becomes agitated and violent during thunderstorms. It's during this time he transforms into his true form and rampages across the rooftops and the sky, leaving electric burn marks where his feet touch. His roars become thunder and his howls deafen those near him. It is best to avoid him during this time, as he will certainly crush someone under his foot. Of course, he hasn't forgotten about what he's learned in his over 2000 years of existence. Years of avoiding Hunters has him better at sniffing them out than most. As a result, he is still wary of humans for the most part. While creatures and contracts are becoming increasingly common on the Isle and knowledge and acceptance of the creatures are increasing, this also brings unwanted trouble in the form of Hunters. He's survived this long as a result of experience and wisdom in his long life, and he doesn't plan on dying anytime soon. Likes::

Occupation:: Plays guitar in a prog metal band called Structurally Unsound Notes of Interest:: Abilities:: Shapeshifting: Tatsuo has the ability to change from his Raiju form to human form and vice versa at will thanks to the magical ear-piercing. He can also gain parts of his creature form in his human form, such as the samurai armor. For less flashy forms, the lightning-shaped tattoos turn into the connected ridges of his creature form. As a Raiju, he is also capable of transforming into ball lightning and flit about, even travel through electrical wires. As with all creatures, he also has the ability to become invisible in his true form. Electric Affinity: As a Raiju, his natural affinity is electricity. He is able to generate large amounts of electricity and utilize it in many different ways including lethally and non-lethally. He can also draw electricity out of sources and absorb it to strengthen and speed himself up. This also means he is near-immune to electric-based attacks and the very high temperatures they can reach, as they tend to just power him up. Ball Lightning: Tatsuo creates a ball of electricity and launches it at high velocities at a target with quite a bit of kinetic force behind it. Even if it doesn't directly hit a target, they may be stunned by the electricity arcing out of the ball in a manner similar to being hit by a stun gun/taser, though this depends entirely on how close they are to the ball lightning. He can fire off several medium sized shots before having to recharge. Contract Information: Tatsuo can form a contract with any human being he chooses. This depends on how much he likes the person who wants to form a contract with him, of course. And even then it also depends on either how long a person can last in a fight against him or if they can beat him (especially in his true form). This is by no means an easy endeavor, not by a long shot. He can also break a contract with a person whenever he pleases. A contract with Tatsuo is either a Bound contract or Partial Possession. Tatsuo will share this power with the contracted human: Electric Affinity Ball Lightning History Full History:: Tatsuo was born as one in a litter of four Raiju cubs in the middle of the Yayoi period during the 2nd century BC, a time when the Shinto religion was strong and his kind were worshipped as Kami. As a young cub, his mother taught him to be wary of the humans for their capacity to build, expand and destroy. But at the same time, she reminded him of their fear and amazement of the unknown and the reverence for the causes of these phenomena, the Kami, and to take advantage of it for as long as he could. Around the age of 100, he ventured from his home in the forests at the foot of a large mountain and into the sky. His proud roars becoming the sound of thunder wherever he roamed. This was also when his mother gave him a magical piercing she had kept as a memento of a contract she once held a human craftsman (who had created the piercing so she could always be nearby), which allowed him to assume human form. In his travels throughout the millennium, he became more and more interested in the world of the humans as they grew and changed. With the human form granted to him by the magical piercing, he assumed a human form. It was then he truly understood what his mother taught him about the humans. He witnessed their capacity for growth and creation, but also their capacity for destruction. As time went on, Japan continued to grew. Wars were fought, and foreigners appeared on Japan's shores. It didn't take long for conflicts to escalate and more wars to begin. It was also around this time an especially strange foreigner appeared, under the guise of a samurai warrior. The foreigner confronted him in his human form. Tatsuo had no idea who this man was, but he seemed to be able to see through his disguise, and his true form. He challenged him to a fight, wanting to claim his head for some organization he had never even heard of. Having nothing better to do, Tatsuo humored the man and attacked him. A long and arduous battle had broken out, with neither side backing down. He truly felt that the man was foolish enough to attack such a strong being such as him. However, this man was very different from the others. He had managed to gain the upper hand in combat, severing his tail and injuring him greatly. With both sides seriously injured and exhausted, the foolish samurai warrior wielding the magic sword stepped forth to land the final strike. Before the final blow was struck, he used the last of his powers to transform into lightning and run off, escaping back to the mountains he once called his home. While it didn't take long for his strength to return, it took almost over three years for his tail to completely grow back. He learned from this encounter that to survive in the modern world, he would have to learn to live with it. Upon leaving his home again, he assumed another human form, and attempted to blend into human society once again.
