The rules are simple: Your character sings. Other people can sing too. It's like Glee, but with less high school angst and more potential hilarity.
-----------------------
It was lunchtime. Tomoko had made food at home an had brought it to the park, where she had bumped into Isamu. She was eating the egg-salad sandwich happily and not offering any to him. Tomoko could tell Isamu looked bored, but she kept talking anyways.
"...And mom says that when I get more exorcist-y I can capture the essence of the spirit and contain them with my will. Fancy speak for me basically becoming a Ghostbuster."
Isamu sighed. "Why would you even want to capture ghosts? I thought the point was to exorcise them."
Tomoko got a faraway look in her eyes.
"I wanna be the very best Like no one ever was!"
She stood up abruptly.
"To catch them is my real test To train them is my cause I will travel across the land Searching far and wide Each ghost to understand The power that's inside!"
People were staring now.
"Poltergeists! It's you and me I know it's my destiny Poltergeists! Ooh, you're my best friend In a world we must defend Poltergeists! Our hearts so true Our courage will pull us through You teach me and I'll teach you Pooooltergeiiiiists! Gotta catch 'em all! Gotta catch them all!
POLTEGIESTS!"
The look on Isamu's face was SO worth it.

SUDDENLY, FOR NO REASON I CAN BOTHER TO EXPLAIN IN DEPTH Simone.
Why in a highschool in the middle of the day hanging around singing teachers? No idea. Just because. It's Simone, lets roll with it.
The dark-haired women upon hearing a song about ghosts and Poltergeists joined in from the shadows, singing along in a hushed tone. It was pretty catchy... too catchy. The beat made her tap her foot along, bringing another song to her head. The moment the asian girl hushed her singing tone, grinning at her friend (?) the suit-clad woman sidestepped out of the shadows, her hands on her hips as if she was posed to start dancing along with her singing.
"They told him don't you ever come around here Don't wanna see your face, you better disappear The fire's in their eyes and their words are really clear So beat it, just beat it"
She turned, pointed to the crowd of somewhat-confused students, before pulling her arms out, making a pop-style dancing number.
"You better run, you better do what you can Don't wanna see no blood, don't be a macho man You wanna be tough, better do what you can So beat it, but you wanna be bad
Just beat it, beat it, beat it, beat it No one wants to be defeated Showin' how funky and strong is your fight It doesn't matter who's wrong or right Just beat it, beat it Just beat it, beat it Just beat it, beat it Just beat it, beat it
They're out to get you, better leave while you can Don't wanna be a boy, you wanna be a man You wanna stay alive, better do what you can So beat it, just beat it
You have to show them that you're really not scared You're playin' with your life, this ain't no truth or dare They'll kick you, then they beat you, Then they'll tell you it's fair So beat it, but you wanna be bad
Just beat it, beat it, beat it, beat it No one wants to be defeated Showin' how funky and strong is your fight It doesn't matter who's wrong or right
Just beat it, beat it, beat it, beat it No one wants to be defeated Showin' how funky and strong is your fight It doesn't matter who's wrong or right
Just beat it, beat it, beat it, beat it No one wants to be defeated Showin' how funky and strong is your fight It doesn't matter who's wrong or right Just beat it, beat it Beat it, beat it, beat it
Beat it, beat it, beat it, beat it No one wants to be defeated Showin' how funky and strong is your fight It doesn't matter who's wrong or who's right
Just beat it, beat it, beat it, beat it No one wants to be defeated Showin' how funky and strong is your fight It doesn't matter who's wrong or right
Just beat it, beat it, beat it, beat it No one wants to be defeated Showin' how funky and strong is your fight It doesn't matter who's wrong or right Just beat it, beat it Beat it, beat it, beat it
Beat it, beat it, beat it, beat it No one wants to be defeated Showin' how funky and strong is your fight It doesn't matter who's wrong or who's right
Just beat it, beat it, beat it, beat it No one wants to be defeated Showin' how funky and strong is your fight It doesn't matter who's wrong or right
Just beat it, beat it, beat it, beat it No one wants to be defeated Showin' how funky and strong is your fight It doesn't matter who's wrong or right
Just beat it, beat it, beat it, beat it No one wants to be defeated Just beat it, beat it-!"
She stopped, tipping her invisible hat to the two.
"BEAT IT BEAT IT BEAT IT!"

For one reason or another, Raziel promised to show Apple what a school was, even though he was three years too old for high school. He also thought it would be a good idea to do so during the lunch hour where most of the students milled about outside, free from the confines of the school.
He is blond.
Stereotypes dictate he is none too bright to begin with.
A girl who looked way too familiar, and a suit-clad woman broke out into song shortly after their arrival. Something about Ghostbusters and beating people. Raziel didn’t pay much attention.
A part of him began to think Apple might believe this happened every lunch time at every high school in South Isle. But suddenly, Raziel was overtaken by the urge to join in, too—he had no time to tell the green-eyed epimeliad otherwise. He had to break out in song, goddamnit.
Raziel turned to Apple, looking rather serious for no reason at all.
“I can show you the world Shining, shimmering, splendid Tell me, Apple, now when did You last let your heart decide? I can open your eyes, Take you wonder by wonder, Over, sideways and under, On a magic carpet ride, “
Well, okay. He didn’t have a magic carpet but Princess Cinnamon Paws was big enough for Apple to ride like one would a horse.
“A whole new world, A new fantastic point of view, No one to tell us no, Or where to go, Or say we're only dreaming.
A whole new world, A dazzling place I never knew, But, now, from way up here, It's crystal clear, That now I'm in a whole new world with you.”
At this point, Raziel’s melodramatic singing and flailing of arms had brought more than enough stares from the student body.
“Unbelievable sights, Indescribable feeling, Soaring, tumbling, freewheeling, Through an endless diamond sky.
A whole new world, (Don't you dare close your eyes), A hundred thousand things to see, (Hold your breath it gets better), I'm like a shooting star, I've come so far, I can't go back to where I used to be.”
Actually, Raziel just forgot the way home. Like hell he was going to admit it, though.
“A whole new world, With new horizons to pursue, I'll chase them anywhere, There's time to spare, Let me share this whole new world with you.
A whole new world, A new fantastic point of view, No one to tell us no, Or where to go, Or say we're only dreaming."
He threw an arm over Apple's shoulder and gestured around them with his free one.
"A whole new world, (Every turn a surprise), With new horizons to pursue, (Every moment red-letter), I'll chase them anywhere, There's time to spare, Anywhere, there's time to spare, Let me share this whole new world with you,
A whole new world, That's where we'll be, A thrilling chase, A wondrous place, For you and me.”
Raziel brandished his arms and did jazz hands. In the background, someone clapped idly. Someone else coughed and asked where all of the crazy singing people were coming from, did they not have security?
