SOUTH ISLE FESTIVAL
Beginning in mid-July, the city of South Isle holds a special festival full of games, food, fireworks, and an assortment of other fun things for everyone of every age and every type. Contests and races are held, food is deepfried and shoved on sticks, chances to earn prizes of varying sorts are everywhere. At the end of every night there are fireworks, and in the beginning of the morning there's a parade. The volunteers worked hard to put it together and make it fun for everyone.
The festival is located at and around the Hashimoto shrine, spanning block upon block. To the east are the rides, rollercoasters, ferris wheel, and even small rides for the younger children. To the west are food stalls and tents, complete with bands and beer for those who are old enough. In the middle are the games and where anyone who wants to can sign up for the contests. This year the contests are...
Note: If you wish to make a thread for one of these contests, please put the contest name in the title of the thread so other people who are interested know and can join.
Everyone is welcomed to come, even full creatures! The shrine is a great place to come and relax from the hustle and bustle of the crowds, and also a great place to learn of charms and to pray for a good following year. Fighting within the festival grounds, however, is strictly forbidden by everyone, HG or otherwise. If you have a bone to pick with someone, take it out of the grounds (in a different board).
The festival will go on until the end of August, at which point new threads will not be able to be made. Feel free to continue threads if they're still going on at the end of August. New and already accepted characters are welcomed.
